About Us

Taught by Sadia Quraeshi Shepard, Assistant Professor of Film Studies, FILM104: An Introduction to Collaborative Documentary Filmmaking is an immersive, hands-on introduction to the documentary film process.

Through producing, shooting and editing community-engaged short documentaries, students explore the power, possibilities and ethical considerations of nonfiction storytelling in central Connecticut and beyond.
